Vehicle description (by seller)

Even small classics can turn out to be quite big... Fiat powered 1936 Italy and many other countries. The first Fiat 500 was nicknamed Topolino, which means "little mouse" in German. It was produced until 1955. In 1957, the "Nuova 500", the new Fiat 500, was introduced. Dante Giacosa designed his next big hit with this vehicle, after developing the actual successor to the Topolino, the Fiat 600. Both vehicles had a similar basic shape and a rear engine; the Fiat 600 was equipped with a four-cylinder water-cooled engine, while the new Fiat 500 received an air-cooled two-cylinder engine. From 1957 to 1975, approximately 3.9 million units were produced, and it remains one of the most well-known designs in automotive history to this day. The driving fun is immense thanks to rear-wheel drive and a highly motivated engine. Additionally, you can catch all the sunlight at any time with the large folding roof. The offered example from 1964 impresses with the "suicide" doors hinged at the back and the convertible roof that can be lowered behind the rear window. It has been carefully restored and optimized and has traveled less than 1000 km since restoration. Our mechanic fell in love with the "little one" and gave it all the care and affection it deserved to make it usable for many more years and occasions. We agree. It is certainly not a car for the highway, where it would nowadays become a traffic obstacle and be pressed by trucks. The quiet country road from village to village is its domain. Here, a convertible is celebrated like no other.Second! The reactions to this little car are priceless. People smile and let it go ahead, even if it doesn't have the right of way. People pet it as they pass by, and at crosswalks, there are standing ovations here and there.

Secure this highly attractive Italian classic car and enjoy a good dose of Dolce Vita on wheels.

We look forward to your contact and appointment to show you the "little" with the big heart. Of course, the car will be handed over with a new main inspection and a freshly performed service, ready to drive.

With our best regards
Your dls-team
